Job summary

CARE CONCERN GROUP LIMITED is seeking a Care Assistant for the Porterbrook Care Home in Sheffield. The role covers personal care, mobility support, and emotional wellbeing under a zero-hours contract with full training provided.

You will work within a supportive team, ensuring residents receive dignity, respect and high-quality, person-centred care in a calm, caring environment. Training and development opportunities are available to suitable applicants.

Job description

Situated in a quiet area in the suburb of Crosspool in Sheffield, we provide Residential and Dementia care for 44-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 0 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
