Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of City & County Healthcare Group, provides in-home care support for clients with complex needs. This role involves assisting with mobility and personal care, monitoring Vent and Tracheostomy, catheter management, and PEG feeds, while ensuring the client and family feel supported at all times.

The position requires experience in Catheter Care and Medication Administration, with a focus on effective communication in challenging behaviours.

Qualifications

• Catheter care required; medication administration and clear communication with client and family.
• Experience with challenging behaviours is essential; nurse-led training available for specialised tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support client with mobility and personal care at home.
• Monitor ventilation and tracheostomy care, catheter care, and PEG feeds as required.
• Administer medications and PEG feeds; support client and family, building rapport and trust.

Shifts Available:8am to 8pm Days Monday to Sunday

Experience in childcare with ventilation care and tracheostomy care is preferred.

Job Description

You will be supporting our client with a congenital condition with their mobility, personal care, monitoring their Vent and Tracheostomy, caring for their Catheter and PEG Feed, administering medication and PEG feeds as required and ensuring they and their family are supported, building rapport and trust so they can continue to be supported in their own home.

Qualifications

Catheter Care, Medication Administration and Communication experience in challenging behaviours is essential.

Previous experience of Tracheostomy Care, Vent Management, PEG feed management would be beneficial but Nurse led training will be provided.
