Job summary

Advantage Healthcare Limited in Blackburn is seeking healthcare assistants to support two paediatric siblings requiring tracheostomy and ventilator care, PEG feeding, and mobility assistance. You will work with the family and mum, adapting to daily needs and building a strong bond with the children.

Nurse-led training provided; experience with children and healthcare or social care preferred. Participation in rota including nights 9pm-7am, days 7am-3pm, and some weekend shifts, with benefits

Responsibilities

• Assist two paediatric siblings with tracheostomy, ventilator care, and PEG feeding.

Pay Rate:£14.40 Per Hour Days and £14.80 Per Hour Nights and Weekends

Shifts Available:

Nights

9:00pm – 7:00am

7am – 3pm day

12 hours weekend support but shifts at weekend may vary

Job Description

This role is looking after two paediatric siblings with Congenital Myopathy, supporting their mum and extended family with their care. They require tracheostomy and ventilator care, PEG feeding, mobilisation and support with personal and social aspects of life. You will be making a difference to their lives ensuring they can participate in family life as appropriate, help support mum with their care needs, their needs vary day to day so this is a role you really can make your own and help create a strong bong with the family and siblings.

Qualifications

You will get Nurse Led Training.

Experience working with Children preferred.

Experience working in Healthcare or Social Care preferred.
