Qualifications

• Catheter care, medication administration and communication experience in challenging behaviours is essential.
• Experience with tracheostomy care and vent management is beneficial; nurse-led training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support client at home with mobility and personal care.
• Monitor Vent and Tracheostomy, manage PEG feeds and catheter care.
• Administer medications and PEG feeds as required, support family and build trust.

Shifts Available:DaysMonday to Friday 9am to 5pm,Saturday/Sunday 7am until 2pm,3pm until 9pm.

NightsMonday-Sunday9pm until 8am.

Job Description

You will be supporting our client with a congenital condition with their mobility, personal care, monitoring their Vent and Tracheostomy, caring for their Catheter and PEG Feed, administering medication and PEG feeds as required and ensuring they and their family are supported, building rapport and trust so they can continue to be supported in their own home.

Qualifications

Catheter Care, Medication Administration and Communication experience in challenging behaviours is essential.

Previous experience of Tracheostomy Care, Vent Management, PEG feed management would be beneficial but Nurse led training will be provided.
