Job summary

Healthcare Homes Holdings Limited is seeking a Care Assistant at Oaklands House in Reydon, near Southwold, Suffolk. The role offers 36 hours per week on day shifts (8am–8pm) with every other weekend, and a starting pay of £12.90 per hour.

Join a supportive team to provide compassionate personal care and companionship to residents. Oaklands House is a warm, well-supported care home with a 5-acre wooded setting.

Care Assistant

Oaklands House, Reydon

£12.90 per hour

36 hours per week on days - 8am - 8pm (including every other weekend)

Oaklands House is located in the seaside town of Southwold in Suffolk. The house is surrounded by five acres of mature woodland. Inside the home is a handsome entrance hall which leads on to a number of exquisite reception rooms. The stunning south-facing conservatory is ideal for peace and quiet but is also a popular meeting place for residents and guests.

What would a typical day look like?

• Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc.)
• Providing companionship and offering social interaction
• Maintaining accurate resident records
