Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of City & County Healthcare Group, provides in-home care for clients with complex needs in Preston and surrounding areas. You will assist with mobility, personal care, and monitoring ventilator and tracheostomy devices, as well as catheter and PEG feeding, while administering medications and ensuring family support.

The role requires experience with catheter care and communication in challenging behaviours; nurse-led training is provided for tracheostomy and vent

Qualifications

• Catheter Care, Medication Administration and Communication experience in challenging behaviours is essential.
• Previous experience of Tracheostomy Care, Vent Management, PEG feed management would be beneficial but Nurse led training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support the client with mobility and personal care.
• Monitor Vent and Tracheostomy and manage Catheter and PEG Feed.
• Administer medications and PEG feeds as required.
• Support the client and family, building rapport and trust for in-home care.

Shifts Available:8am to 8pm Days Monday to Sunday

Experience in childcare with ventilation care and tracheostomy care is preferred.

Job Description

You will be supporting our client with a congenital condition with their mobility, personal care, monitoring their Vent and Tracheostomy, caring for their Catheter and PEG Feed, administering medication and PEG feeds as required and ensuring they and their family are supported, building rapport and trust so they can continue to be supported in their own home.

Qualifications

Catheter Care, Medication Administration and Communication experience in challenging behaviours is essential.

Previous experience of Tracheostomy Care, Vent Management, PEG feed management would be beneficial but Nurse led training will be provided.
