Job summary

Superior Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support an 18-year-old living with his family in Polegate. The role offers flexible shifts to fit around school runs, studies, and other commitments, with a 2:1 care package and ongoing nurse supervision.

You’ll assist with personal care, medication administration, and outings in the community using a wheelchair, helping him live life to the fullest while building a meaningful relationship with the family. UK-based applicants only.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience involving personal care
• Caring, reliable and compassionate approach
• Confidence supporting people in their own homes

• Full UK driving license is preferred

Flexible Shifts to Suit You

Morning Shifts: 06:00 – 08:30

Afternoon/Evening Shifts: 16:00 – 22:00

Weekend Shifts: 08:00 – 20:00

Half-Term Cover (Monday-Friday): 06:00 – 22:00

About the Role

We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Care Assistant to support an 18-year-old young man living with his family in Polegate.

This young man has a great sense of humour, is a joy to work with, and enjoys getting out and about in the community. You’ll have the opportunity to support him on days out and community activities using his wheelchair, helping him live life to the fullest while building a meaningful relationship with him and his family.

This is a 2:1 support package, meaning you’ll always be working alongside another member of the care team and will be fully supported by experienced colleagues. You’ll be joining an established, friendly team who know him well and are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

You’ll support with:

• Seizure management
• Manual handling
• Medication administration
• Personal care and daily living support
