Job summary

Bupa at The Highgate Care Home in London is seeking a Care Assistant for night shifts to support residents with personal care and companionship, following care plans and regulations. The role is permanent, 44 hours per week, with occasional weekends required.

The successful candidate will contribute to delivering person-centred care in a values-led environment, with focus on resident independence and safety. Benefits and training support are offered within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.

What we're looking for:

• Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
