Job summary

Job description

As a Care Assistant, you will support individuals to make choices, live independently, and demonstrate the values of the Care and Support Department.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Following care and support plans with respect and dignity.
• Assisting with domestic cleaning, cooking, and shopping tasks as instructed.
• Assisting with medication provision as directed.
• Maintaining service user records with up-to-date information.
• Responding to health and safety issues, complying with infection control policies, and completing relevant H&S training, including emergency procedures.
• Supporting clients who may present behavioral challenges.
• Using IT systems for recording information and communication.
• Providing coaching and feedback to team members.
• Adhering to mandatory vaccination requirements; providing evidence of exemptions if applicable.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Care Assistant.
• Comfortable assisting with personal care.
• Enhanced DBS check (possibly on the update service) to expedite recruitment.
