Job summary

CCH in Maidstone Complex SCP, Northfleet, is hiring a compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support an adult client at home. The role involves managing complex clinical needs, monitoring health, and aiding communication for a non-verbal client who uses eye gaze technology.

A full UK driving licence is required. Tracheostomy and Ventilation experience is essential; PEG feeding and medication administration are desirable.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.

• Desirable: PEG Feeding; Medication Administration; Moving & Handling Equipment; Communication skills for non-verbal clients.

Responsibilities

• Support an adult client in their home with complex care needs.
• Manage a range of complex clinical needs with monitoring.
• Encourage and support alternative communication methods for a non-verbal client using eye gaze technology.

What you'll do

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Complex Care Assistant to support an adult client in their home. This role involves managing a range of complex clinical needs that require regular monitoring and attention. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, proactive, and a reliable team player who demonstrates empathy, patience, and adaptability.

As the client is non-verbal and uses eye gaze technology to communicate, you will play a vital role in encouraging and supporting alternative communication methods to help them express their needs and enhance their quality of life. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to build on your existing care skills while making a meaningful and lasting impact.

Qualifications
