Job summary

PSR Solutions is seeking an experienced Care Assistant in Maybole, Scotland. This permanent role offers 22–44 hours per week with day or night shifts, paying £13.45 per hour and up to £30,773.60 per year.

You’ll work with the Home Manager, Deputy Manager and Senior Carers to provide high-quality care and support to service users. Key requirements include prior care experience, caring and empathetic nature, strong communication, and a Care Certificate or SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Care Assistant is essential.
• Care Certificate, SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent preferred.
• Full eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Willingness to undertake a PVG check.
• DBS/PVG/Access NI checks and employment references may be required.

A care home on the outskirts of Ayr in Maybole is currently recruiting an experienced Care Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to service users, helping them maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life. You will also work closely with the Home Manager, Deputy Manager, and Senior Carers to support the smooth running of the service.

What we are looking for in a Care Assistant:
