Worcestershire County Council's Howbury House in Malvern is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health, and other needs, in a dementia and replacement bed service setting.

We offer permanent contracts with variable hours (19.25–24.25 per week) and comprehensive staff development; training provided. You'll work as part of a supportive team, contribute to dignified, person-centred care, and benefit from holiday

Howbury house

Howbury house is a service based in Malvern.We have a dual service supporting individuals with Dementia and a replacement bed service located on the grounds. Our Dementia service prides itself on an empathetic caring environment meeting individuals needs whilst promoting dignity and respect.

Our replacement bed service supports individuals on short stays to allow families and guardians respite. This is a six bedded service with communal areas and a sensory room.

The service supports adults 18+ with a Learning Disability, Mental health, neurodiverse diagnosis, physical disabilities, sensory needs and emotional / psychological needs.

Both our services require team work to maintain the quality of care.

Experience with this would be desirable but not essential as training is provided
