Job summary

Churchill House Care Home in Ludlow is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. We offer days with 22, 33 or 44 hours per week, including weekends, with full training and ongoing development.

The role focuses on assisting residents with personal care, meals, and keeping them engaged in social activities. You’ll work closely with residents and families to support independence and wellbeing, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a homely, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and be flexible with shifts.

Responsibilities

• Organise and participate in social and recreational activities for residents.
• Assist with personal care and mealtimes, supporting independence.
• Provide support to help residents maintain their independence and wellbeing.
• Get to know residents and their families to tailor care.
• Maintain accurate records of care and activities.
