Job summary

Bluebird Care Lisburn & Down is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our Lisburn & Down team. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support with daily living activities in a home care setting.

Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential. Weekend hours apply, and we offer full training and development opportunities within a supportive leadership team.

• Weekend hours (every other weekend or one day every weekend).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for.

Requirements

• Full Driving Licence and access to own vehicle essential
• Right to Work in the UK

• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training is provided
