Job summary

Bluebird Care is seeking compassionate Carers to support customers in their own homes across Mid-Essex and Essex-West. You will work independently or with a team to deliver high-quality daily living assistance, promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities include personal care, hydration and nutrition support, medication prompting, light housekeeping, and building trusted relationships with clients. Full driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred where required.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to follow care plans accurately and with empathy.
  • Experience supporting with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Diligent, reliable, and capable of building trust with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care in clients' homes.
  • Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing).
  • Support hydration and nutrition and monitor intake.
  • Safely prompting and administering medications as prescribed.
  • Carry out light housekeeping and domestic tasks.
  • Be a dependable, friendly face and promote independence.

  • Provide high-quality care tailored to each person's individual needs
  • Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing and dressing)
  • Supporting with hydration and nutrition
  • Safely supporting with medication, including prompting and administering
  • Carry out light housework such as tidying, laundry and general cleaning
