Helping Hands in Lancashire is hiring a Care Assistant to provide companionship and practical support in clients' homes. No prior care experience is required as full training is provided, and you’ll be part of a friendly, purpose-driven team.

You'll assist with personal care, mobility, daily tasks, and medication in line with care plans, while building trust with clients. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle help you reach visits and errands.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm companionship to customers in their homes.
• Support with personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs to keep clients safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that shows clients they are cared for.
