Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Care Assistant to provide companionship and support in customers' homes in Kingswood. No prior care experience is required, just kindness and reliability. Full training, support and confidence-building are provided to help you thrive in a flexible role.

You'll assist with personal care, mobility, medication administration and household tasks, while building meaningful relationships and contributing to a compassionate care culture.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
