Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Care Assistant in New Milton to join a flexible, customer-focused team. You’ll support people to live well at home, with training provided and career growth opportunities.

You'll need a kind, reliable, people-first mindset; prior care experience isn't required. Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are preferred. Competitive pay: £15.90 per hour, plus mileage and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.

• Oversee and administer medication per care plans.
• Help with household tasks (cleaning, cooking, meals).
• Run essential errands (groceries, prescriptions).
• Offer calm, considerate support that makes customers feel cared for.

What you’ll do

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.

• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
