We are looking for an Extra Care - Care Assistant to be based in one of our Extra Care Services at Hawthorn Court Keynsham, which offers a vibrant community atmosphere and this is easily accessible via public transport or car.
This role is for 17.5 hours per week and involves a rota system which will involve late shifts from 16:30-21:30 or 17:00-22:00. You also will be working every other weekend with some bank holidays.
Extra Care Housing is for adults, who have some care needs, with an assured tenancy in a self-contained flat in a purpose-built or adapted scheme. Our Extra care housing services have been rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in June 2022.
Previous experience of working in care would be an advantage, but a commitment to deliver quality care is essential and full training will be provided. This opportunity is ideal for an individual aiming to develop their career and gain hands on experience in a thriving and friendly workplace.
