Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in the Diss area is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care in a residential setting, including dementia care. You will support residents with personal care, activities and companionship, while promoting independence and dignity.

The role is permanent full-time, 36 hours per week with night shifts. NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is required, and you will receive comprehensive induction, training and benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience in care setting preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work night shifts.

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Diss, Ipswich area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

This care home provides care and support to residential, respite and residential dementia individuals

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent

As a Support Worker your key duties include:

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Proven experience of working in a care setting
• A good team player
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Have a genuine desire to care for others

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £12.80 - £13.45 per hour - Pay frequency is monthly.
