Job summary

Haddington Care Limited is seeking a Care Assistant at Haddington Care Home to deliver high quality, person-centred care for residents. You will be part of a supportive team, helping with daily living tasks and ensuring dignity and wellbeing.

Role is full-time with training provided; prior experience is beneficial but not essential. A caring, reliable and team-focused attitude is valued as you help residents feel safe and respected.

Job description

Haddington Care Home is a well established care home in Haddington, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite and Palliative care for up to 68 residents. With a strong team culture and focus on high standards, the home offers a supportive environment where staff can develop their skills and make a meaningful difference every day.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Full Time
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing. You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
