Job summary

Advantage Healthcare Limited is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support an adult client in their home, handling a range of complex clinical needs with regular monitoring. You will be a clear communicator, proactive and a reliable team player focused on empathy and safety.

The client is non-verbal and uses eye gaze technology; you will help encourage alternative communication methods to express needs and enhance quality of life. Full training and DBS coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience with tracheostomy and ventilation.
• Desirable: PEG feeding, suctioning, catheter care, bowel management, medication administration, moving & handling equipment, communication skills for non-verbal clients.

Responsibilities

• Support an adult client in their home with complex clinical needs requiring regular monitoring.
• Assist and encourage alternative communication methods for a non-verbal client using eye gaze technology.

As the client is non-verbal and uses eye gaze technology to communicate, you will play a vital role in encouraging and supporting alternative communication methods to help them express their needs and enhance their quality of life. Qualifications

Candidate would need to meet the following requirements before applying:

• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience with Tracheostomy and Ventilation

• Suctioning
• Catheter Care
• Bowel Management (Manual Evacuation)
• Medication Administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment
