Job summary

McCarthy & Stone in Glasgow is seeking a Care Assistant for the Hilltree Court estate. You will support residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities in a modern, centralised setting with no travel required.

Position Details

• Hours: Various Shift Patterns available . (to be discussed with the manager)
• Pay: Starting at £13.70 per hour, with enhanced rates up to £15.00*depending on shifts during weekends and evenings.

Role Highlights

As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in enabling residents to live independently and actively. Your daily tasks will include, assisting people with personal care, care medication, mealtime support, light domestic duties, coordinating resident activities, and assisting with appointments and shopping. Each day will be diverse, allowing you to make a significant impact on residents’ wellbeing.

About You

• Location: Ideally located within commuting distance to our estate.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a UK health and social care role is preferred, with a passion for working with older adults. A Level 2 QCF qualification in Health and Social Care (Adults) is an asset but not mandatory.
