Job summary

Bluebird Care Worthing is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality in-home support to clients. You will work with individuals to maintain independence, dignity and comfort in their own homes, delivering personalised care plans and companionship.

The role covers personal care, meal preparation, medication assistance and light domestic tasks, with full training provided. A driving licence is preferred for travel between clients, and you will join a friendly, supportive team

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Compassionate attitude and calm approach to care.
• Excellent communication and ability to build relationships.
• Previous care experience beneficial but not required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person's individual needs.

• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
