Job summary

Bupa’s Waverley Grange Care Home in Farnham is hiring a Care Assistant. You will support residents with a range of needs, provide companionship and personal care, and help residents maintain independence in a warm, professional setting.

Shifts run 8am–8pm or 8pm–8am, with alternate weekends. This permanent role offers a competitive hourly rate and full-time hours at a UK care home location.

Qualifications

• Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.
