Job summary

Bupa is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for Freelands Croft Care Home in Fleet. You will help residents with daily activities, provide companionship and support, and ensure care plans are followed accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist with nutrition and hydration according to each resident's care plan.
• Provide mental and physical stimulation through social and recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.

What we're looking for:

Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
