Job summary

Care By Us is seeking a Care Assistant to provide essential in-home care across East Hertfordshire, including Bishops Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Hertford, and surrounding areas. You will support with personal care, medications, mobility, meals, and light domestic tasks, while building meaningful relationships with clients.

No prior experience required as full training is provided; a driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for rural areas.

Responsibilities

• Supporting with personal care – bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming
• Assisting with medication – preparation and administration
• Helping with mobility and using aids/equipment safely
• Preparing meals/snacks and offering mealtime support
• Carrying out light domestic duties – laundry, making beds, light cleaning
• Offering companionship and building meaningful relationships
• Companionship – conversations, activities, outings

Pay: £14.60 – £16.00 per hour + 30p mileageShifts: 7 days a week

• Day: 06:00/07:00 – 14:00
• Evening: 14:00 – 22:00/23:00
