Job summary

Care Concern Group's Dalgety Bay Care Home in Dalgety Bay, Fife, is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, dignity and wellbeing. You will help with personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional support, following care plans and reporting changes promptly.

We welcome both experienced carers and newcomers; full training, ongoing development and a welcoming team environment are provided to support your journey.

Qualifications

• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Job description

Dalgety Bay Care Home is a purpose built care home located in the coastal town of Dalgety Bay in Fife. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 68 residents, the home offers a warm, welcoming and supportive environment where team members can make a meaningful difference every day.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour - Dayshift
• £13.73 per hour - Nightshift
• Dayshift & Nightshift Available
• Full time, part time and bank contracts available
• Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided, Onsite parking
• 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract
• £500 welcome bonus payable after successful completion of 3 month probation

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
