Job summary

Routes Healthcare is hiring a Care Assistant to visit clients in their homes across Chesterfield and surrounding areas. You will provide person-centred care, assist with daily living activities, and travel between visits as needed.

A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required, along with the right to work in the UK. DBS is fully funded, and flexible full-time or part-time hours are available.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK with no sponsorship required.
• Full valid UK driving licence and access to a car for work.
• Experience in home care is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their own homes to provide person-centred care.
• Provide personal care with dignity and respect, supporting with daily living tasks.
• Assist with medication management and meal preparation.
• Work solo or with a 2-person team depending on client needs; travel between visits.

About The Role

This is a home care position - you'll be travelling to clients' homes throughout the day to provide person-centred care and support.

What You'll Be Doing

• Visiting vulnerable and palliative clients in their own homes
• Providing personal care with dignity and respect
• Supporting with medication management
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Working solo or as part of a 2-person team depending on client needs
• Supporting clients with a variety of different care requirements
• Travelling between client visits throughout your shift

Essential
