Job summary

HFH Healthcare is seeking a Care Assistant to support a gentleman in his own home in Crawley. You will provide one-to-one, person-centred care and companionship, including respiratory care and enteral feeding as needed.

The role requires previous healthcare experience and a compassionate, flexible approach. Shifts are 12-hour days (8am–8pm) and nights (8pm–8am), with enhanced weekend and bank holiday rates.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare or complex care experience.
• Tracheostomy and suctioning experience desirable.
• Experience with enteral feeding or respiratory care beneficial.
• Friendly, patient and sociable personality.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Compassionate, reliable and flexible approach.

Responsibilities

Pay: £12.71–£16.00 per hour

Shifts: 12-hour days (8am–8pm) and waking nights (8pm–8am)

HFH Healthcare is looking for compassionate and experienced Care Assistants to support a gentleman in his own home in Crawley. The gentleman has MND and uses a NIV.

We're looking for someone who will take the time to get to know him, share a laugh and support him to enjoy the things that matter most.

What will you be doing?

• Providing one-to-one, person-centred care and companionship.
• Supporting tracheostomy care, suctioning and respiratory management.
• Assisting with RIG/enteral feeding and medication administration.
• Supporting personal care, mobility and daily routines.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and community activities.
• Monitoring wellbeing and recognising changes in health.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in healthcare or complex care.
