Job summary

HFH Healthcare is seeking a caring and experienced Care Assistant to support a gentleman in his own home in Crawley. The role involves one-to-one, person-centred care, assisting with personal care, mobility and daily routines, and encouraging independence and community engagement.

Experience in healthcare or complex care is preferred, with tracheostomy/suctioning experience desirable. The position offers regular 12-hour shifts, enhanced weekend rates, and direct PAYE employment.

Care Assistant

Location: Crawley

Pay: £12.71–£16.00 per hour

Shifts: 12-hour days (8am–8pm) and waking nights (8pm–8am)

HFH Healthcare is looking for compassionate and experienced Care Assistants to support a gentleman in his own home in Crawley. The gentleman has MND and uses a NIV.

We're looking for someone who will take the time to get to know him, share a laugh and support him to enjoy the things that matter most.

What will you be doing?

• Providing one-to-one, person-centred care and companionship.

• Supporting personal care, mobility and daily routines.

• Encouraging independence, confidence and community activities.

• Monitoring wellbeing and recognising changes in health.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in healthcare or complex care.

• Tracheostomy and suctioning experience desirable.

• Experience with enteral feeding or respiratory care beneficial.

• A friendly, patient and sociable personality.
