Job summary

HFH Healthcare in Worthing is seeking compassionate and reliable support workers to care for a client at home with complex needs. You will work 12-hour day or night shifts on a 1:1 basis in the client’s home, delivering attentive, person-centred care.

We require at least 6 months’ care experience; PAYE payroll, weekend/Bank Holiday enhanced rates, and a supportive benefits package are included to ensure consistent, quality care delivery.

We are looking for compassionate and reliable support workers with at least 6 months’ experience to support our client at home with complex care needs. Our client lives life to the full despite living with her condition and is looking for care assistant that will support and encourage her to continue to do so. The role compromises of 12 hour day and night shifts so you will be working with our client on a 1:1 basis in her home.

What HFH offers?

• Typically, our client base requires ongoing care, 24 hours a day, and benefit from the continuity of a small core team of regular care staff.


• Our specialist carers work with one client per shift and do not travel between multiple homes. The average shift is duration 12hrs.


• Where possible we will offer you work to meet your availability and as a guide, the average carer works three shifts (36hrs) per week for us and earns £500 - 555 p/wk*.


• The regular working patterns that our clients require mean this three day a week work pattern equates to an average annual income of between £26,200 £28,950*.


• We employ all staff directly and manage all aspects of your pay via PAYE, rather than Limited Company or Self-employed status. This removes the need for you employ third party companies or calculate your own tax. PAYE also protects you from breaching IR35 tax regulations.
