Job summary

SeeMeHired is seeking a dedicated care assistant in Coventry to support our clients with daily living activities and personal care. You will assist with morning and evening routines, mobility, feeding and medication reminders in a friendly, professional environment.

The role is permanent and full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a flexible rota covering mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Salary is £25,000 per year, with opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Duties include assisting clients with morning and evening routines, dressing, washing, bathing and toilet use.
• Assist mobility and personal care for clients with disabilities, including continence care and use of aids.
• Provide care for temporary illness or bed nursing and feeding support.
• Support clients who are terminally ill and promote physical and mental activities.

Responsibilities

• Make beds, tidy rooms, and assist with laundry where needed.
• Prepare light meals, set tables, and serve meals. Wash up after meals.
• Read and write reports and participate in client reviews and training.

Job description

• To assist clients who need help getting up and going to bed in the morning and evenings, including dressing and undressing, washing, bathing and going to the toilet.
• To help clients with their mobility and with any physical disabilities, including incontinence and use of personal aids and equipment.
• To care for clients who are temporarily sick and need bed nursing and help with feeding etc.
• To provide care and support for clients who are terminally ill.
• To help in the promotion of mental and physical activities of clients through talking, outings, reading, writing, hobbies and recreations.
• To make and change beds, light cleaning, emptying commodes and general tidying.
• To inspect, launder and mend clients' clothes.
• To set tables and trays, prepare and serve light meals, clearing away and washing up.
• To read and write reports and be involved in clients' reviews and training activities.
• To adhere to all Caremark's policies and procedures at all times.
• To report either to the Field Care Supervisor or Care Manager any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a client.
