Nurse Seekers Ltd. is recruiting a Care Assistant (Days) for a 30-bed residential care home in Churston, Brixham. The role covers 36 hours per week on 8am–8pm day shifts, with paid breaks and a friendly, supportive team.

You will provide personal care, help with daily routines and meals, and assist residents to participate in activities, while maintaining dignity and independence. Previous care experience is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care desirable.

Pay: £12.90 per hour (paid breaks included)
Shift: 8am - 8pm

Working Pattern: 3 shifts per week

About the Role

We are recruiting a dedicated Care Assistant (Days) to join a welcoming 30-bed residential care home in the beautiful Churston area of Brixham.

The home provides a warm, supportive environment where residents receive high-quality, person‑centred care. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable and valued throughout the day.

Working 36 hours per week on 8am-8pm day shifts, you will provide compassionate support with personal care, daily routines, meals, activities and mobility, while promoting residents' dignity, independence, privacy and choice.

You will become an important part of a dedicated care team, building positive relationships with residents and helping to create a genuine home‑from‑home environment.
