Helping Hands is seeking a Care Assistant in Chichester. You’ll provide warm companionship, assist with personal care and mobility, and help with daily tasks to support independence and safety in clients’ homes. Training and ongoing support are provided, no prior care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care (washing, bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Assist with mobility to keep clients safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication per care plans.
• Help with household tasks (cleaning, cooking, meal prep).
• Run essential errands (shopping, prescriptions pickups).
• Offer calm, compassionate support to make clients feel cared for.

What you’ll do

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.

• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
