Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is recruiting a Complex Care Assistant for overnight support in a family home in Bognor Regis. You will deliver calm, respectful care to a client with complex needs, handling personal care, meals, and monitoring wellbeing during the night.

No prior complex care experience is essential; kindness and a willingness to learn matter most. Full training and DBS clearance are provided, with growth opportunities within the team and a supportive, family-friendly

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and provide person-centred support.
• Ability to follow care plans and administer medications.

Responsibilities

Complex Care Assistant: Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a patient, compassionate, and reliable individual to provide overnight support for a lady with complex care needs in her family home, delivering calm, respectful, and attentive care to ensure her comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the night; duties include personal care, food preparation, medication administration, and support with social activities and appointments. The client lives with a supportive, welcoming family in a pet-free home, has a creative personality, and enjoys films, arts and crafts, and hypnotherapy, valuing reassuring, person-centred support. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is genuinely caring, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality home-based care; experience in complex care is desirable, but kindness, patience, and a willingness to learn are essential.

Complex Care Assistant Job: Skills & Requirements

Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is not essential, but experience in the following would be extremely advantageous:

• PEG feeding.
• Ventilation Support (C-Pap)
