The Croft Care Home

Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire

Salary: £12.21 Per Hour

Hours: 38 hours – full-time work is essential

About Us

Ambient Support is a registered UK charity with over 25 years of experience providing care and support services for older people, individuals with mental health needs, and those with learning disabilities.

Our residential care home, The Croft, is a community-based home for older adults in Amersham. We care for 60 residents, including up to 31 with higher dementia care needs. We offer a welcoming, home-from-home environment with regular activities and organized events.

The Role of a Care Assistant

• Support adults in a care setting or community.
• Understand and deliver high-quality home care.
• Demonstrate good communication skills, patience, and flexibility.
• Be aware of safeguarding and person-centered support.
• Work flexible shifts, including alternate weekends.
• Experience is desirable but not essential; full training is provided.
