Job summary

Advantage Healthcare in Cardiff is seeking a friendly Care Assistant to support a client in the community, helping with social activities and daily tasks. You will accompany them on outings and assist with mobility and personal care as needed, in a nurse-led training environment.

No previous care experience is required; comprehensive training is provided, with opportunities for progression across our care teams.

Qualifications

• No care experience required; full nurse-led training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support the client in the community, helping them stay active and engaged with social activities.
• Assist with daily life tasks and accompany to outings such as cinema or bowling as part of personalised care.

Location: Cardiff

Pay: £12.75 per hour

Shifts: Thursday and Friday, average of 11.5 hours weekly (09:15 - 15:15 OR 09:30 - 15:00)

You must hold a full driving license due to the nature of this role

What you’ll do

We are looking for a friendly and communicative Care Assistant to support our client out and about in the community.

They enjoy visiting the cinema, going bowling and spending time with their family! This role will involve you supporting them with all of the social aspects of their life, and helping them keep doing the things they love to do!

You don’t need any care experience to apply for this role, just plenty of care, compassion and resilience as we provide full nurse-led training.
