Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking a part-time Care Assistant at Cross Penny Court, Bury St Edmunds. You will work a mix of early and late shifts, including alternate weekends, in one location to support residents with daily tasks and wellbeing.

Earn £13.26–£14.56 per hour depending on shifts, with enhanced pay for evenings and weekends. Sponsorship is not available for UK-based applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK health and social care is preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care is a plus, but not essential.
• Caring, dependable and passionate about supporting older adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily tasks such as appointments, light cleaning, laundry and shopping.
• Support social activities and wellbeing routines.
• Promote independence, dignity and community involvement.
• Support individuals with care packages as needed.
