Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, Bridgend, is recruiting a Complex Care Assistant for night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Our aim is to be the best place to work in care, supported by our people-first values.

You’ll assist a client at home with daily activities, personal care, and monitoring of a tracheostomy and ventilation. No care experience is required as full nurse-led training is provided, with DBS costs covered and clear paths to leadership roles.

Qualifications

• No care experience required; full nurse-led training provided.
• Experience with tracheostomy and ventilation machines would be beneficial, but is not essential and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support with day‑to‑day activities and all aspects of personal care.
• Monitor tracheostomy and ventilation equipment to ensure safety at all times.

Job Description

What you’ll do

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant.

Our client lives at home with his partner and his children. He has Spinal Autonomic Dysreflexia, has a tracheostomy and also requires ventilation. He enjoys going out to bingo with his partner and care staff, and also spending time with his children.

You will support the client with day to day activities, supporting with all aspects of personal care and ensuring his tracheostomy and vent is monitored at all times.

What you’ll need

You don’t need any care experience to apply for this role, just plenty of care, compassion, and resilience as we provide full nurse‑led training.

Experience working with tracheostomy and ventilation machines would be beneficial, but is not essential for this role, as training will be provided to you.
