Leicestershire County Council Shared Lives Service in Norfolk seeks a dedicated Support Worker for a brand-new care home in Swaffham. The role covers residential, dementia, respite and convalescence care, with emphasis on dignity and resident-centred support.

A fantastic new job opportunity is now available for a committed Support Worker to work in a brand new care home opening soon based in the Swaffham, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

This is a modern, purpose-built care home which provides residential, dementia, respite, and convalescence care, offering a comfortable and supportive environment tailored to the individual needs of each resident

As a Support Worker your key duties include:

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Have a genuine desire to care for others
• A good team player
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proven experience of working in a care setting

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £12.80 - £13.45 per hour - Pay frequency is monthly.
