Job summary

Orchard Care Homes in Bolsover, Derbyshire is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead and support our care team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents. You will assess needs, develop care plans, and supervise staff while ensuring medication safety.

You’ll work with healthcare professionals and families, promoting dignity, independence and choice for every resident, with ongoing training and development across our portfolio of homes.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification is essential.
• Experience in elderly care or dementia support.
• Strong supervisory skills and leadership experience.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the care team to deliver high-quality care.

Job description

As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a key leadership role within our care team. You'll be responsible for assessing individual needs, developing person-centred care plans, and ensuring that medical, physical, and emotional support is delivered to the highest standard. You'll also supervise and mentor care staff, helping them grow and maintain best practices. What You'll Be Doing
