Job summary

Prestige Care Group is looking for a dedicated support worker to join our team in Bedale. You will provide personal care, monitor wellbeing, assist with meals, and support residents with daily activities.

The role involves delivering compassionate care, maintaining records, and working flexible day and night shifts across seven days. DBS checks and references will be required; full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing, oral hygiene, and mobility support.
• Administer medication and monitor health and wellbeing.
• Assist with meals, support residents during mealtimes.
• Keep rooms tidy, change bedding, and manage laundry.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Support residents to maintain independence and dignity.
• Support social activities and outings, including hospital visits.
• Communicate with families and care professionals; maintain records.

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time

The Role:

• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing, oral hygiene, and mobility support
• Administer medication and monitor health and wellbeing
• Assist with meal preparation, serving, and supporting residents during mealtimes
• Keep residents’ rooms tidy, change bedding, and manage laundry
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents
• Help residents maintain independence, dignity, and individuality
• Support social activities and outings, including hospital visits
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families and other care professionals
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in residents’ condition
