Job summary

Abacare is seeking a Care Assistant in Abergele for part-time or full-time shifts. A driving licence and access to transport are required due to location. Pay rate is £13.45 per hour plus mileage. Extensive benefits and opportunities for development are provided as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• No prior social care experience required.
• You’ll follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, helping clients bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet and supporting them with their medication.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, bathing and dressing.
• Help with meals, shopping, and light housework as part of daily living.
• Follow individual care plans and support clients to live safely at home.

Qualifications

Supporting them to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, helping clients to bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet and supporting them with their medication. You’ll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes and housework.
