Job summary

House of Light Trust LTD is offering two Adult Care Worker apprenticeships at Cornerstone House, a residential home near Rotherham town centre. You will support residents with daily living, finances, shopping, hygiene and social activities while working toward a Level 2 Adult Care Worker qualification.

You’ll train with Rotherham College and a dedicated Health & Social Care Assessor, learning how to follow care plans, complete paperwork, and understand safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Willing to complete care qualifications and DBS checks.
• Full DBS check required for applicants.
• Experience in care is not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to clients as needed.
• Accompany clients on social outings.
• Follow personalised care plans and document progress.
• Check communication books and diaries; maintain records.
• Report incidents and safeguarding concerns when necessary.
• Work well within a team and adhere to health and safety rules.
• Respect client confidentiality and maintain privacy.
