National Star is seeking caring, resilient Facilitators to join our Day Service team. You will support young people and adults with complex disabilities to participate in learning, therapy, social activities and community experiences, helping them reach their full potential.
Working with therapists, tutors, nurses and care professionals, you will deliver person-centred support, maintain records, and contribute to progress reviews while developing valuable health, social care and education skills.

We are looking for caring, resilient and motivated individuals to join our Day Service team as Facilitators. This is a varied and hands on role where no two days are the same. You will support young people and adults with complex disabilities to take part in learning, therapy, social activities and community experiences, helping them to reach their full potential.
Working as part of a skilled multi disciplinary team, you will collaborate with therapists, tutors, nurses and care professionals to provide high quality support centred around each person's individual needs and aspirations.
As a Facilitator, you will play a key role in supporting people throughout their day. This may include:

This is a physically and emotionally demanding position. You will be supporting individuals with complex needs, which may include personal care, moving and handling, managing behaviours of concern and responding to health needs.
The role requires you to work at pace, adapt to changing situations and take responsibility for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of those you support.

You do not need extensive experience to apply. We welcome candidates who share our values and are willing to learn.
We are particularly interested in people who are:
Experience in health care, social care, education or supporting people with disabilities would be beneficial, but is not essential.
A driving licence is advantageous, and candidates with D1 entitlement are particularly welcomed.
