Gloucester Charities Trust invites applications for Care and Support Assistant Nights at Magdalen House. This 36-hour-a-week role is based in our 29-bed home and focuses on delivering high-quality care to older residents and promoting their health and wellbeing.

The successful applicant will be caring, compassionate and committed to ongoing development. NVQ/QCF 2 in Health and Social Care or Care Certificate is desirable; sponsorship is not provided.

Care and Support Assistant Nights – 36hrs Magdalen House

Care and Support Assistant Nights– £12.74 per hour (increasing to £13.00 after meds training), plus £1.00 per hour at weekends.

36 hours per week

Magdalen House (our 29-bed home) is a beautifully presented Residential Care Home for older people. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced carer who believes delivering resident health and wellbeing is the highest priority.

The job will suit candidates who are skilled and compassionate, are empathetic to the needs of older people, and looking for ongoing development.

Having a NVQ/QCF 2 in Health and Social Care, the Care Certificate or a willingness to gain these qualifications is desirable.
