Job summary

University of Oxford's RDM Division of Cardiovascular Medicine invites applications for a Research Nurse/Practitioner to support the AdipoRedOx study. You will screen and recruit participants, coordinate imaging procedures, and collect and process biological samples.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure informed consent, provide ongoing information to participants, and maintain high-quality data documentation. A clinical imaging background is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional with nursing, radiography, or physiology background.
• Experience in cardiac/vascular ultrasound and medical image analysis.
• Experience recruiting patients to clinical studies.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Experience with ethics applications.
• Understanding of cardiovascular disease pathophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Screen and recruit eligible participants into the AdipoRedOx study.
• Organise and/or perform imaging scans (ultrasound and CT).
• Obtain and process blood samples.
• Facilitate informed consent and provide ongoing information and support.
• Ensure data is accurately documented and maintained.
• Work closely with laboratory and clinical study personnel.
