Job summary

University of Oxford invites applications for a Research Nurse/Practitioner in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. You will drive the AdipoRedOx study, screen and recruit participants, perform imaging scans and collect blood samples.

The role requires registration as a Nurse, Radiographer, or Physiologist, with experience in cardiac/vascular ultrasound and medical image analysis, plus patient recruitment.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered Nurse, Radiographer, or Physiologist with clinical background.
• Experience in cardiac/vascular ultrasound and medical image analysis.
• Experience recruiting patients to clinical studies and ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Screen and recruit eligible participants for the AdipoRedOx study.
• Organise and perform imaging scans (ultrasound, CT) and collect blood samples.
• Obtain informed consent and provide ongoing information and support to participants.
• Document and maintain data accurately; work with laboratory and clinical study teams.
