Job summary

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a registered nurse to join Ward 14 at Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Llantrisant. The role is a five-month secondment/full-time post covering a secondment, with duties across Cardiology and Care of the Elderly wards.

We require a current UK NMC pin, ward experience, and strong communication and teamwork. Welsh language ability is desirable; staff are encouraged to develop professionally within CTM’s training framework.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC pin and registration.
• Experience in ward environments, ideally in medical or elderly care.
• Welsh language ability is desirable for this post.

Responsibilities

• Manage a group of patients and, when needed, take charge of the ward/department and its resources for the duration of duty.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Supervise less-experienced staff and ensure accurate, up-to-date patient records.
